How to get rid of the ads?

Hello all:

I'm new to this forum. I've used other forums. Can anyone tell me how/what setting I change to get rid of the ads? I'm a gold AFF member.

Welcome to AFF!

The ads should automatically disappear once you become a GOLD member. Be sure to be logged in, so that the system can identify you as a GOLD member.

If the problem persists, please PM me and I will investigate further.

Thank you admin. I only signed up and paid (via PayPal) about one hour ago. It's possible I'm not yet a fully fledged Gold member until my funds have actually been received by AFF. My status says New member. Thanks for your reply.

Bernd,

Your status will say New Member as this refers to the number of posts you have made.

Have a look at AFF Posting Levels and in particular Post #82.
