How to get husband and child into the lounge with me?

Ok, so I was totally not vigilant and have dropped from SG to PS subsequent to a SC cough up. I'm flying J with BA in a couple of weeks from SYD to LHR, husband and child in Y (bless them). Actually I'm fairly sure it'll end up with me in MooMoo Land with the bairn, and husband in J. Any road up, since all this Emirates business I can't work out who is allowed to access the lounge in SYD, if I join the QP will they be allowed in? Do BA let ANYONE into their Galeries lounge. Help!

This is quite tricky.
Entry to the Lounge in SYD can be via either your ticket ( no guest) or if you pay for QC membership then a guest will be allowed.
Any child under 18 will be admitted as per the QF family policy.
In practice I think that QF are very likely to allow a PS travelling in J on BA into the lounge with hubby and kid.
I haven't been to the BA lounge in SIN so not sure what are the latest rules being enforced.
In LHR you can access the Lounge by virtue of your J ticket, having QP membership will not be of any benefit in T5. Any child under two is admitted and does not count as a guest. Over two is counted as a guest.
I also don't think that the $99 30 day Admirals club pass will help as you are flying on BA.

Thank you! I think I'll just try our luck with getting the husband and little one into SYD lounge. I don't really want to pay for QC membership as I'm hoping to get back up to SG soon enough.

I'll put a post up on the October board to see if anyone can help out with guesting my husband into T5 Galleries on 21st Oct for a 19:15 departure.

Transit time in SIN isn't bad so not too worried about that; heaps to do with the little one there )
