How to find Aeroplan flights

When you said "seems bookable but is not online", does it mean that the website may show availability, but if I try to book it, the system will simply not allow the booking to go through?

Also in terms of Aeroplan redemptions, if I end up making a booking on any available flight now, say, the Air China flight, and then if Lufthansa do end up releasing their flights and I want to make any change, do I have to call Aeroplan to make the change and pay the change fee (and I assume any additional points required if applicable)?

Yes and Yes. Advice is book in now what you can get and then muck around with it later if you can. Availability does not last long.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Aeroplan as I have only purchased my first lot of Aeroplan points. I've seen a bunch of SQ, Air China, Turkish and Air India flights popping up on Aeroplan, but does anyone know whether ANA or Lufthansa release any awards seats to Aeroplan at all?

I'm looking for a Europe to Japan flight for early next year (if possible, onwards to Sydney, but I'm willing to accept that I may have to pay cash for the Tokyo - Sydney leg), so I've been eyeing for any ANA or Lufthansa flights.
So far, I've seen a few Air China seats between various cities in Europe and PEK, which I am currently considering, if there is no HND/NRT flight available.

I have a trip next week and am looking out for Lufthansa first class.

In the process of doing that have noticed there is plenty of availability on Lufthansa, ANA, Asiana, EVA, Thai to europe, as well as a bit of Singapore airlines. Oman Air has been consistently available out of Bangkok.

Now next week is getting towards off peak season. The same ‘wide open’ availability may not be there if you’re travelling during major holidays.

I had no problem booking turkish availability that I saw on line. It was just that it disappeared for several months. Seems to be coming back on select routes.

Call centre times can be horrendous and have been that way for at least three years. The HSBC credit card that gives you gold on Air Canada is invaluable in that sense… no more than a couple minutes wait time.
