How does one disable email notifications ONLY for a particular thread, rather than all threads?

I would still like the in-site notifications in the top right corner. From memory this used to be possible on the old site.
If you un-watch the thread, and then re-watch the thread, you will be asked if you would like to receive email notifications along with the site notifications. Additionally, you can choose in Account Preferences if you would like a push notification (if enabled) as well.

Thanks, that's a neat workaround, but I feel like this was definitely easier on the old site? From memory, this could be done straight in the thred without having to un-watch and then re-watch?

When you say ‘old site’, to what era are you talking about? Nothing has changed in this respect recently, despite having an upgrade in the last month.

The site from about a month ago - I'm sure I recall this being easier to do, but maybe I'm losing it. Either way, not a big deal. Thanks for the help :)
