I recently booked a flight Brisbane to Singapore with Qantas for 21 April 2023 using mostly points and some cash. A change in circumstances meant that I had to change to 19 April 2023.

My Itinerary and flight details have been changed to 19 April but despite four calls to Qantas when I ask for the itinerary and E ticket to be emailed to me it still shows 21 April. When, after waiting 25 minutes yesterday, I asked how the problem could be resolved, I was cut off. I would be gratetful if someone knows how to solve this problem.

Go to checkmytrip.com and look up your booking there, that will give you truth data of what you have booked.

When did you make the changes? Ticketing can take a few days, and its prioritised by departure date so April 23 would be very low on the list.

If you read around the forum, this is an absolutely chronic problem with Qantas (eg not reissuing tickets, calls being cut off ...). Unless you have platinum status or above, you'll get an offshore call centre who, we think due to poor or little training, cannot perform the duties they should be able to. This includes issuing new etickets etc.

Only Qantas can solve these problems. For most here (as I said, read around, especially the past few pages of the Qantas Call Centre Long Wait Times thread), the answer is just to keep calling until you get a competent agent and you do get a new eTicket. Do it soon - if you leave it to the last week or minute, you may not get that competent agent and remain without a current ticket. You can 'check my trip' but that still doesn't get you a new ticket. Personally, I wouldn't rock up to the airport without a ticket for my flight.
