Hi There,

i'm looking for a way to quickly get 100,000 velocity points...any ideas?

Welcome to AFF.

You certainly can't "buy" them.

You could get 25000 buy buying 20000 Starboard Preferred Guest points and transferring them - but that is limited per year.

Easiest is probably to sign up for some credit cards for their fat sign on bonuses.
Depends on how quick you need them though as they can take up to 2 or 3 months to be creditted.

Amex Platinum Charge $1200 = 80k MR points = 80k Velocity points
Amex Velocity Platinum $349 = 50k Velocity Points
Citibank Signature $295 = 60k Citi Points = 40k Velocity points
ANZ Rewards black $0 (first year) = 50k ANZ points = 20k Velocity Points
Virgin Velocity High Flyer $349 = 20k velocity points

You can "buy" them through an AMEX reward program at 2.5c/pt. You'd have to be getting a pretty good deal to be buying them at that price though!

Why such a need for points.... 1,000/10,000 maybe I can understand, but 100k

Wouldn't be just more cost (& time) effective purchasing whatever you need outright?

That's what I think. 100k is only enough for one wax to LAX in J.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

If OP can provide the use for the 100k points perhaps we can suggest alternatives?

Yes until a post 2 eventuates probably not worth giving a lot of thought to it....

Also NAB Velocity rewards premium $150 for 40k velocity points if you apply by 31 july.

Easy, buy A$20,000.00 worth of domestic flights and then fly them. Not only will you get 100,000 points, you will also maybe get WP in the process!
