Hi all.

My question is how often do airlines amend their flight timetables? Is there a standard time of year this is done, or is it something they monitor and change when required. I am primarily interested in Singapore Air and Qantas.

I am starting to plan my 2011 trip and I want to use my Krisflyer and QFF points for the flights. Ideally, I want to get onto a J flight for some of the segments.

Given there seems to be alot of rules when you can get J award flights - esp the KrisFlyer Saver awards - I want to be as prepared as possible when the award flights are released.

Thanks in advance,
PW.

Normally twice a year, during the Northen Summer and Northen Winter, but then again most flight times do stay around the same.

For Qantas it's generally around the beginning and end of Daylight saving; occasionally some major updates on June 30th and perhaps Dec 1.

That's great - thanks for the info.

I'll head off and start deciphering award redemption codes. :D
