Anyone have any more examples of the famous Travelodge design from the 70s that sprung up across our region:

Melbourne Holiday Inn
Doubletree Esplanade Darwin
Geelong Mecure
Camperdown Rydges
Crowne Plaza Port Moresby

They are all built in the same basic shape, I am sure I have missed some!

It was an interesting shape, with some practicality. I seem to recall one reason for the three point design was to avoid lengthy corridors.

Two others in that design are:

Rydges Albury
Westin, Seoul, Korea.
