How many times have you had to put the same booking into credit?

With another scheduled event cancelled due to COVID restrictions (on the ACT which has not had a locally acquired infection in over a year) I, of course, had to cancel the flights I'd arranged and get a Flight Credit.

This piqued my curiosity as I'd made this booking using a Flight Credit - so I checked my records, seems that this Booking Reference has been associated with 4 cancelled trips now.

I'm sure I'm not alone with this experience - and I'm almost certain knowing the people here that somebody will beat that number.

So, that is the question - how many times have you tried unsuccessfully to use the same booking reference!

What? Nobody can beat 4 cancelled trips?

Or simply nobody cares :)

I'm at 2, going for 3 in a few weeks!
Quite concerned as I have 4k in qantas travel pass....

I had about $3k across a number of bookings but have managed to use most of that up - it is just this one persistent booking reference that seems cursed!

I've used about 200 bucks on a retun melb fling and just managed to miss all exposure sites and get out on the night of the lockdown prior to this one! I feel like your profile pic.

I'm at 2 (forced date changed) bookings and the third will be racked up next week because of current lock downs. QF also rescheduled both my flights (for the same date) due to changes in schedule and then they did not run anyway.

I’m up to 5. The ticket in particular is a complimentary ANZ travel rewards perk (remember those) and was due to expire at the end of this month anyway - they only give 12 months validity from the initial booking date. I called ANZ today ready to beg for an extension and didn’t need to as they are now extending the expiry dates. Rescheduled and fingers crossed Victorians can fly again soon.

I’m up to 3 on a jetstar voucher. Of course the one I booked outright with cash went just fine

With the extension of the Sydney lock down my previously thrice rescheduled booking SYD-MEL-SYD (last reschedule was to 14 August) was initially 'cancelled' by QF and then moved (rebooked by QF) to even later the same day. As it was an overnighter they have also now moved my return flight to be even later the following day (15 August). When I can actually ring QF I was intending relying on their cancellation to ask for a refund, but this flight was to be the one required flight to ensure status extension for another year so now its wait and see. Maybe I will have a go at the Travel Pass with DSC.
