Qantas
Gold
First post in a long time. I am getting towards the end of full time employment and looking to travel. Currently sitting on 10370 QFF status credits and inching to lifetime gold. I am intending to maximise next round of double status credits via a RTW ticket to Europe (?France; UK and Portugal/Spain). I tried using the Qantas calculator with no joy so hoping the forum gurus might give a guide. Wanting to purchase upfront to then utilise points with gold status for future trips. Thanks for any thoughts.

The QF double status credits only apply to QF operated and marketed flights., Not code share or other airlines. Must be booked in the nominated time period the DSC offer is open. which is usually about 1 week. But no guarantee QF will have another DSC offer. They may replace with "SC of the ground"

Assuming you are considering a oneworld *ONE* or *GLOB* --> RTW Flights: Round The World Airline Tickets - RTW.
Would need to carefully select QF flight for distance to maximize QF SC. Other airlines can be good earners. Have a practice RTW itinerary at the ready. Can be dfficult to get booked so to have all the D class flights availability. Better to book via a good travel agent and not QF or the OW RTW online tool.
With QF lifetime gold 14000 SC at 10370 SC you have a good bit to achieve.

What's not working? Some city pairs/airlines are missing but it should cover most hops.

Unfortunately, the handy multi-city calculator was enhanced away some years ago.

Do you have an itinerary in mind? QF metal as much as possible will reap the most reward for a DSC offer of course. But flights around Europe, US and trans Atlantic ought to be reasonable earners also.

Best you'll do is to earn the DSC on the SYD<>LHR legs operated by QF, or routing somehow via the SYD<>AKL<>JFK flight. Anything else on any other oneworld or Emirates flights will not earn DSC.

Ultra long haul and long haul are not good SC earners on a per mile basis
Better to have flights just above the zone distance
