How many points do you earn from your CC spend on average per month?

QF tool says 221k in last twelve months but that is significantly skewed by the 100k in bonus CC sign on offers I've applied for in the last few months. Hopefully 20-50k more to come in the next month or two.
So taking that away it seems I am accruing about 10k a month.

That's points obviously not dollars. Actual dollar spend from day to day expenses is probably more like $2k/month mostly on my ANZ Amex (1.5 points per dollar) but then you have the 3-4 QF return trips to SIN/CGK at 12k points each, some domestic flights, hotel stays and $$ spent on QF website to make up the rest.

Mum is stubborn (you can see where I got my stubborness from ;) ) and often frowns at most things I do/have done.

She loves to help me out with Everyday Rewards and even using Wish cards but that is where she draws the line.

I only do ~35 returns SYD-BNE per year as I spend ~9-10 weeks overseas and I do spend some weekends in BNE. My flights are not that expensive especially when we throw OOL into the mix when SYD-BNE is too expensive. I know purchase for both Qantas and Virgin flights.

Rent I am not convinced I want to pay 2%+ on ~$15,600 yearly to earn credit card points. I really do need to purchase extra points as I am generating heaps.

I hardly spend any money on food. Do not eat out as I cook my own and mum helps out when she cooks things like stuffed capsicums, stuffed vine/cabbage leaves.

I rarely eat out as well and take frozen left over meals for during the week. I do purchase my lunch makings from the supermarket. Probably the big advantage is that I stay in a hotel, which means my "rent" can be paid by card without a fee.

I stay in a hotel as well but sort of different to your situation.

I guess unless you are independently wealthy, the CC points really pile on when you use the CC for the business purchases. So probably using Amex gets me 20k a month. And the supplier from whom I purchase most of the goods for my business also kicks in bonus miles, so I guess 35 to 40k a month for an average $13k credit card spend on AMEX, I guess up to 500k miles a year to doing what I have to do anyway, purchase supplies to run the business. On top of this there is private CC spending but I haven't totaled this up lately.
