how early to arrive for singapore airlines 5 35pm flight from Adelaide airport?

hi , first time flying internationally out od adelaide airport. Only done domestic flights out of adelaide and arrived 60-90 mins before and had no issues. Not quite sure how it works for international flights with the queues for the internatoinal bag check and customs with how long those will take

Adelaide is very easy. The only real issue is the early AM departures (I think it’s the DPS flight) where customs opens an hour or so after checkin opens so you have the buildup to deal with.

2 hours prior to departure is good enough for ADL. You also miss any customs buildup from those who have checkin earlier (the bulk of people) who are then in the buildup for customs.

In my experience for SQ278 scheduled for a 0910 departure, immigration opens exactly 2 hours before departure @ 0710 am.
