How early to arrive at SYD

Realise these are "extraordinary times" but what is the current experience of time taking from check-in to airside at SYD currently?
My circumstances are travelling with CX in J with Oneworld Emerald on evening of December 7.
Mrsandye is unavoidably working that day and trying to work out how stressed I should be about inadvertantly missing the plane but also trying to get an idea about how much (first-ever) F lounge time we might anticipate

Yes, curious also what’s it like at the moment. I haven’t had a chance since the TT Bubble turned to cough. During then, it was getting reasonably busy but the Express Lane was closed (don’t know if it has reopened). Also, they were doing manual immigration processing - the SmartGates aren’t smart enough to remind peeps to lower their mask for their closeup….

Presumably you have an arvo/evening flight? That was traditionally quieter than the morning rush. If it’s your first time to the 1st Lounge, then try and get there with time to spare!
