Thought I'd start yet another thread, this time discussing Choice Hotels which are fairly common in North America, and to a lesser extent in Australia.

I'll go first:

Property: Quality Hotel Darwin Airport
Choice Elite Status: None
Room Booked: 1 Queen Bed, No Smoking, Executive Room, Kitchen
Room Rate: 10,000 Choice points (award redemption)
Date Stayed: 5 April - 6 April, 2022
Room Upgraded?: N/A
Late Checkout: N/A

To cap off my week in Darwin, I decided to stay the final night at the Quality Inn hotel near the airport as I had a somewhat early flight back to Sydney (via Adelaide) and long travel day ahead.

One pleasant surprise was the mini bar which was reasonably stocked and which had very fair prices I must say:

The same could not be said about breakfast, which wasn't included (a surprise since most Choice Hotels offer free breakfast) and was overpriced IMHO:

Outdoor pool was of decent size and water was warm thanks in part to Darwin's favourable weather:

This room tag aged as well as Bill Cosby:

Hotel had a complimentary shuttle which I used to get to the airport.
