How AA deals with EU 261

Compensation from AA in US$ to a USA address can only be made by check.
Payments to Australian accounts are handled by bank transfer.....

I agree AA is more efficient than the USA banking system.

They appear to have their 'moments' but in general if EU261/2004 is obviously applicable they comply with little fuss.
