Hi there

Wondering if any of you could suggest a hotel in San Diego around USD250 per night.
Something in the downtown area, not too far from San Diego Zoo.

There are quite a few to choose from and have read the usual review sites, but would also be interested in hearing from your own experiences.

Many thanks for your replies

cheers

We recently stayed at the Balboa Park Inn, San Diego. It is an unusual inn - more like small apartments - ours had a separate living room, bedroom and kitchen. We loved it - easy to park, breakfast delivered to the room (continental breakfast), nice staff, very quiet. It is on the edge of Balboa Park where the zoo is located.
