Hello all. Just joined up with AFF and looking for some friendly advice for my upcoming trip to America and Canada next year.

I am looking for advice as to what would be the best hotel loyalty program to get involved with when traveling through America and Canada.

I am currently a Le Club Gold member, a Qantas Club member and Qantas Frequent Flyer member.

I notice the Accor does not offer too many hotel options in North America.

Are there any suitable loyalty programs that I can get a real quick status upgrade for? I managed to get free Gold status with Le Club by just signing up at the right time.

Thanking you all for your advice in advance.

Cheers.

I would recommend Hilton Honors or Priority Club. Hilton has a mass of properties at all different price ranges around the States and Canada and it is fairly easy to gain Gold status with them which will give you free breakfast and internet. Priority Club also has a bunch of properties, I'm not sure how quickly you can gain status but I doubt it would take long if you stick with them for your trip. Enjoy!

I have just had a month in USA and Canada and I certainly recommend PRIORITY REWARD group ( Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza etc). They have a good range. reasonable price and we were lucky enough to strike a lot of multiple Bonii offers to the extent that we amassed almost 190,000 points ( approx 25,000 points = 1 free night) which will give us about 7/8 free nights.....not too shabby in my book.
Sign up to the program it is free and have a look in PRIORITY REWARDS thread for the offers that Markis10 has listed as current
