The Sheraton often comes out the cheapest.Seeing I get lounge access I use it now.Have in the past tried-
Westin-nicer but more expensive.
A couple of HGIs-most recently at Grapevine-a few restaurants in walking distance.Usually more expensive than Sheraton but all are nice rooms with complimentary internet.
And a few hamptons-but prefer the HGIs.
I stayed a night last year at Holiday Inn Express DFW South and it was fine. I got a room upgrade and it was clean and spacious. Shuttle to and from, which I think was free (tipped the driver naturally). Not a lot around - a servo and a Red lobster bar/restaurant (which I had a couple of beers and a snack at).
It's showing around $110 next month. There are quite a few HIs and HI Expresses around DFW.

Actually I don't care too much for keeping it SPG. Was just being open minded for what else is practical and good value for a straightforward overnight transit.
