Would it be cheaper to book hotels while in Australia than from another country? While booking hotels on portals like hotels.com would the rates differ when booking from Australia or another country. I am not talking with respect to Exchange rate. But my question is for example if a hotel night shows as 100 AUD while logging in from Australia will it be the same 100 AUD while logging from USA?
Thanks in advance.

Should be the same.
But some hotels/airlines have tried alternate methods including discriminating by IP and even device type
