Hotel booking websites - discounts?

Now that Hotelclub have finished their 50 USD offer for new signups, I was wondering if any other hotel booking sites are offering similar discounts??

If you are looking for hotels in the US I have always had a lot of luck with travelzoo.com, they are not a booking agent but rather a site that shows deals available on hotels, broadway shows etc and provide links directly to the hotel with a promo code to use.
