Is that the case in both directions? For both QF29 and QF30? My expectation is that QF30 inbound to Australia will require bags to be removed so they can undergo the gate screening required by Australian authorities for all flights arriving into Australia. Just imagine the serious security breach is someone brought a metal butter knife onto the aircraft in London and left if in the carry-on bag during the HKG transit :shock:And unlike the technical stop in SIN, you do not need to remove your stuff from the plane at HKG. (well, apart from your id documentation)
