Hi all,

I stupidly walked straight out of arrival immigration the other day coming in to HK, thinking the e-Channel enrolment office would be right there in the baggage area (I even saw the signage while queuing up for immi before being herded away from it).

Other than arrivals, is there any other place I can go to enrol for the e-Channel service? Airport or in town? I'd really love to do it before leaving, but seems like the only way to do it is on arrival.

Only on arrival now.
Used to be possible but not for 5+ yrs now.

Only on arrivals, right after customs but before the baggage. The 2 offices have different opening hours, so you need to plan ahead and work out which customs queue you need to join.

Thanks so much for the tips. Just got home, so will have to plan ahead next time I'm there.

You can of course just walk between the two offices. I was directed to one from another.

It's also possible to walk into baggage claim area then back into immigration to get around the 2 areas
