I am on a QF flight with vietnam airlines to Sydney, and am wondering if being QFF platinum will get me into any lounges?

I tried and failed in the lounges...

Perhaps get an AMEX Platinum for the free priority pass, or buy the card for $99.00

Sadly no, OneWorld privileges apply when it's a one world operated and marketed flight, and obviously there is no QP.
