Flew Business Class HKG-xKUL-PEN return last January; fare (HKG-PEN) was around AUD550. It was about $250 cheaper than HKG-KUL. Then flew MH PEN-KUL return in economy for about $45 each way.

HKG/KUL was in 738 ...

Is KUL-PEN the shortest route MH run from KUL? I'm just thinking of other options in case I need to go to KL again.

I'm in the 772 on the way there and 738 on the way back. Timing was what motivated me most - didn't want to fly back in the morning just to get the 772.
