Hire car possibility

Good evening everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible for a Victorian P2 driver to hire a car in Manchester, UK? I am thinking of going over for 2 weeks and would not mind getting a hire car for part of my travels.

I am over 25 if that helps.

Whilst I can't comment specifically for a Vic P2 license, I've always found it depends on the car hire place as to if they will hire out to provisional driver or not. If they will, expect to pay a premium on your insurance ( and \ or accept you will have a larger than normal excess).

I'd just ring the companies and ask what their rules are.

It should not be too much of a problem. Just look to the smaller local operators as opposed to the globals (Hertz/Budget?Thrifty)
