Hilton site bug - wont acknowledge Velocity earning preference

Has anyone else got this problem... I'm trying to book a Hilton night (first since being comped Diamond via Velocity) and when i go to book it tells me i need to select a FF program to credit my double dip earnings to. It refuses to recognise Velocity as having been selected (it has) and Velocity is missing from the options from the pull down menu. It's as though Velocity has vanished from the system somewhere despite appearing in the "my profile" section.

Anyone got the same problem or a solution?

I do see Virgin Blue right at the bottom of the drop down list.

I can find it easily on the page to select an earning preference but it disappears by the time i get to the reservations page. Which page are you looking at?
 
Just went through a booking and it just changes me back to Qantas :shock:

Thanks for reassuring me i'm not crazy. Bit annoying that it wont acknowledge VA. Hmm. Might see if it resolves before confirming the booking.

Are we talking about double dip hhonors + variable miles? If so, I didn't think this was an option any more for QF or DJ since at least early this year. I just booked a room on hhonors+fixed miles this morning crediting to Velocity and it seems to have worked fine (I think??)

I had the exact same problem this morning. I rang the 1800 number to book the room. That was my solution.

I have done four previous online bookings since being comped platinum by Velocity and this is the first time I've had a problem.

While talking to them I asked if they could send me a Diamond card as I hadn't received one. She said she had ordered one and I should receive it in six weeks. That will be almost five months since I was comped.
 
Ive had 2 issues with this.Firstly I didnt realise that the double dip for VA (virgin blue in their dropdown) only lets you have the 1000 point option.Secondly I had the same issues going to book. I mentioned it to them, they said jsut clear it out and leave nothing in there and it will be picked up anyways because its tied with your HHonours numberbooking I completed has posted my points, so seems to work
 
Well i removed the earning preference and (VA fixed miles) and the booking has gone through - will see how it credits i guess.
