Hello,
I have been 'lurking' on this site for a while and was recently invited to participate. So here it is: hope the experts don't find the question too repetitive. Probably the answer is already out there. Hilton are currently having a sale in Europe for 2016 and I am looking to book a couple of the cities. How does the 'stay 5 nights, get 1 free' work ie is it only on certain occasions or rack rates? Any other tips for Paris, Vienna and Milan would help. Travelling business on SIA points courtesy of advice in this forum :). Incidentally SIA and the waiting list is a bit weird but that's another story.

cheers,

You go to the Hilton website and book an award / points stay for 5 nights. The system takes in to account the free night by reducing the points for all 5 nights.

Yes, as Freq Flier 2013 says, however, still take care. The hilton booking engine is a weird one.

I recently saved over 30,000 points by breaking a 6 night stay into 4+2 nights on points. You'd have thought that the '5th night free' would have taken care of that but it didn't.
