Hilton points transfer problem

Hi everyone,

I just tried to do a Hilton points transfer to my brother.
Received a confirmation number but no confirmation email.
Points are still in my account.
Person on chat said to wait for 48 hours. If no transfer by then, email Hilton Honors.
I did not have such a problem last year.
Both accounts are more than a year old too.

Has anyone encountered similar problems when doing a points transfer lately?

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

It can definitely take 48hrs. It took that long on my last transfer, and I also didn’t get an email. They just appeared.
 
Bumping an old thread to see if anyone has any recent data points?

I made a transfer to a relative just over 48 hours ago and the points are still in my account.

I didn't receive an email even though the confirmation screen said that one had been sent.

I took screenshots and have a confirmation number so can follow up if required, but wondering how long to wait until I contact them?
