Hi
I got the following invitation:

Dear S Granville,

As a Hilton HHonors® member, you’re invited to earn valuable Rewards, including HHonors bonus points, just for participating in surveys that are prescreened to match your interests.

Enrol today and receive 500 Hilton HHonors bonus points if you complete your first survey within 45 days.

Learn more about the e-Rewards® programme.

Having clicked on the link I am invited to register for eRewards. There is an awful lot of personal information required so I think I shall pass. For 500 points I dont think I want my mother's maiden name, address, dog's name etc. on another server...

This has been around for a while. I have received it from both Hilton and Intercontinental. I started to fill it out but it just went on and on and on so I quit.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I signed up for eRewards, from memory it was invitation from HHonors, and I do not think I received a survey in the time frame required so no HHonors bonus points. I have had a few eRewards surveys since but as eRewards points expire yearly I have not been able to accumulate enough eRewards points, minimum level of eRewards points required for redemption, to be able to redeem them.

Anyway the personal information does not bother me that much. There is already enough of it out there in various databases and I am sure some of these are connected in one way or another....

I joined this up via Hilton as well. Actually did a survey this week and got another 50 points. Wasn't front of mind about the points expiry, but not really that worried about it.

Although I haven't done an erewards survey, in general there is a cut off point in surveys beyond which they become unreasonable. Some surveys are well written and you feel encouraged to go on - others you start to begrudge the token payment they are making to you.
