Hilton Diamond in New York City

Hi guys'

i heading to New York with my dad in July for 3 nights and trying to decide where to stay. Ive been a few times before. Dad was keen on the Hilton midtown on Avenue of America cuz its close to the shops and city centre.

I was keen for the Waldorf Astoria but read on flyer talk that diamond privileges are very limited? (starbucks vouchers, no lounge, no breakfast?!)

Conrad is great but quite a way down in lower manhattan and away from the bright lights...

Can anyone give me a good recommendation? Can anyone tell me what the diamond privileges are at the Waldorf?
