Welcome aboard! By your username, would if be safe to suggest you are involved in wee natural gas project a bit south of here?
 
Its also a Greek word, but given the OP's location, I'm guessing so.
 
Good work on the Greek! But no I'm not involved with the LNG project, I am an ichthyologist - I work on fish!
