Hi Everyone,

Joined the AFF board after browsing for a while. I'm a freelance musiciian and travel every Week for work. May I travellled adelaide - singapore - kuala lumpur - adelaide on singapore airlines and sydney - frankfurt - melbourne on etihad (plus about 10 domestic virginfflights) in May this year. Currently travel wwhatever I can afford and am a velocity gold member and collect points through qantas and singapore.

Welcome to AFF! That is quite some travelling, do you find that the aircraft air influences your voice? I find the air very dry and usually end up with clogged sinusses.

Thanks! Yeah it wreaks havoc on your voice/respiratory system. May was a freak month (all for work) but i do use a few things to alleviate the pressures on the voice. First and foremost i use humidiflyer, a little mask that humidifies the air you breath (slightly embarrassing looking, but actually works), i also use fess frequent flyer saline spray for my nose, and (unfortunately) dont drink alcohol or coffee in long flights and request water whenever cabin crew walks by.

Welcome

I believe Bach wrote an opera about coffee but not about travel unfortunately. He was a drinker though I think.
