Hi all have an urgent Question regarding visa waiver

He did apply for a visa but it wasn't a difficult process. Couldn't get too much detail out of him as there were other people with us and it's not meant to be public knowledge. Apparently Canada are the tough ones
 
Oh ok cool. Do you know if it was a long wait for the Visa?

There are many threads on applying for a visa to the US, and I believe the last time frame was about 5 months from time of interview to being approved. If you have a criminal conviction, you WILL be knocked back at interview, and then it goes to the USA for adjudication etc. Golden rule: If you apply, don't book tickets until you have it.
