Hi AFFs! New to the forum and seeking advice please :)

Planning on traveling J to Hanoi, Vietnam in early October, and considering Vietnam Air (direct) or Singapore air. Any recommendations as I've never travelled Vietnam air before? Will likely stay in north/central Vietnam and would also appreciate any recommendations regarding places to go/stay. Only have 8 days and don't want to try and cram in too many places. Have just returned from Vietnam using VN for internal flights HCMC-DAD-HCMC and also VN from HKG- HCMC.
We did this over 2 weeks.
For 8 days, I might suggest seeking out what you really want to see, focusing on quality not quantity.

Hanoi is on our list!
