I found some older posts from 2013, but nothing recent.

Anyone with any recent experience using the Hertz One-way Transfer Desk in Europe? Specifically: how did you find the "booking" process, how did you actually book, and what were the rates like?

We have a back up booking with Hertz, pick up in Rome, Drop off in Paris, about $800 Euro for 9 days in an SUV (Group F), which was 400-600 Euro less than Avis, but would like to see if we can get a good deal on an C or E class Merc or some other comfortable car for the long drive, that we often see needing a way home on the site.

Just hoping to bump this up so that someone with experience using Hertz European Transfer Desk in the last year or so might be willing to share their experience/luck/process.
