If you request a street directory when renting from Hertz, they charge a certain amount per rental.

IIRC, they used to (still do?) waive it for certain renters - (Gold? 5*? PC?).

Does anyone know whether this waiver is still happening, and who it applies to?

I think it is 5* and above, have not worried for a few years thanks to the GPS.

I think it used to be free for everyone. At least that’s what I was told when I queried the charge at ADL a few weeks back, after seeing a sign (the car I hired had a GPS so I didn’t need it anyway).

Included in the contract rates for my government department. Not sure about the new whole of Australian Government travel arrangements being introduced. So far it seems some airfares will cost more.

Richard.
