Hertz or car hire discount codes?

I got 20% off a 2 day rental Thu-Sat, I think the rate is avail on the website under deals.

I couldn't take-up any of the deals avail for Gold+ so I'm not feeling the Hertz love since the best deal was open to all !

I did a rental for the weekend. Tested a few options. With a discount code applied as a non member it was cheaper than logging in as a Gold. No benefit in being Gold at the moment.

Aint that always the way! Not sure where you are looking but sometimes changing your default location on the hertz website throws up better options, also check the FT thread, they have the most comprehensive list of codes, Platinum Amex and Car and Driver code have worked well for me in the past.

I found the same issue a while back. Discount codes don't work so well logged in as Gold.
