Help with 140k oneworld award - So close!?

I'm planning a round the route itinerary next year that is pushing the limits on the 140k point oneworld award fare.

The major stopovers I'm looking for are SYD -> Mexico -> USA -> Iceland -> France -> Kenya -> Japan -> Philippines -> SYD, and I'm trying to work out how to achieve this within the rules.

My current solution is as follows:
SYD -> DFW -> MEX (STOP 1)
[Surface segment MEX > BOS - we'll buy some cheap flights and travel around the US in a car]
BOS -> LHR (STOP 2)
[We'll buy cheap flights to get to Iceland and France then back to London]
LHR -> NBO (STOP 3)
[Surface segment NBO -> AMM.
AMM -> HKG -> NRT (STOP 4)
NRT -> HKG -> MNL (STOP 5)
MNL -> SYD

All up this is 34,588 miles, 9 segments (plus two surface segments), and 5 stops.

My questions are:
1. Does this fit within the fare rules, or am I missing something?
2. Is it possible to access the Royal Jordanian award flights on this fare? I would need it for the AMM -> HKG leg. I am pushing up against the mile limit, hence the need to go to Tokyo via AMM instead of returning to LHR....
3. Am I allowed to return to the same cities under the fare (eg this goes through HKG twice)?
4. Can I take surface segments that pass through multiples countries (eg the NBO -> AMM leg)?

Whilst there are many members on this forum with greater knowledge than I, it seems OK to me, provided that none of your transits (other than a stopover) are more than 24 hours.

I would suggest that you call the QFF desk, tell them you are planning your trip and ask them to check for availability, etc. They won't charge you if you don't book and you will get an idea of availability, flights, etc.

All looks ok to me too. Because you are so close the the mileage limit, you may go over depending on how Qantas calculates the distances between each city. You won't know this though until you book the flights.

If you can wait a week, you can include Qatar flights from 30 Oct which may help reduce your mileage from NBO to HKG.

Hey thanks for this! Looks like we might be able to go Nairobi -> Doha -> Tokyo with Qatar, which would save 1600 miles and save us from paying for our own flights from Nairobi to Amman (although we would miss out on Jordan!).

Can definitely wait a week, so I think this may be the go. Thanks!

The two HKG transits are okay but probably the first thing to go if the mileage is too high. NRT-MNL direct is one option, maybe AMM-DEL-NRT or something similar. All would shave off another few miles.

nbo-amm-del-nrt-mnl-syd brings it well down to 33477 miles.

Awesome, thanks for this! I couldn't get the AMM-HKG-NRT leg working in the engine, but I must have stuffed something up!

This fare is an absolute bargain.
