Hi,

I am based in Sydney (SYD) Australia at the moment and have just been selected for an AA face to face interview as a flight attendant

My issue, is that AA will only fly me into DFW on a AA flight (codeshares not applicable)

American Airlines no longer flys to Australia.

Need assistance for the cheapest flight to anywhere in the American Airlines network

My interview is on Thursday 21st November at DFW

Can someone please assist to see if there is a cheap flight from SYDNEY Australia to anywhere on the American Airlines network between 16th - 25 November

P.S. AM I CRAZY TO EVEN CONSIDER THIS? I have passed a video interview and testing so far but this is my dream job!

Thanks!

And I look forward to serving you all with a cheery smile once I get the job!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Think the easiest would be to go to either NRT or HNL
Jetstar fly to both, so you might be able to get some cheap flights

I agree with FrankC. Roughly $640 one way to NRT or PEK and get an AA flight from there. If you have some QF points you might be able to get a Classic Award opened up to SIN ( WP request) and catch a cheapie from there to NRT, PEK, PVG.
Are you mad?
Probably but I wouldn't sit around and die wondering.
Good Luck :)

We usually head to PVG to access AA flights. Prices as low as $444 each way and good availability for award flights around your interview dates if you have enough QF points to go via HKG. AA only fly PVG to LAX or ORD so you will need to transit to DFW.

Hope to see your smiling face onboard soon ;)

Why is being an aa flight attendant your dream job? Seems an odd airline to strive for.
