But in all seriousness, how many people show up to my lovely state for functions? Are you FFers social butterflies or does it turn into one of those situations where 3 people sit awkwardly at a table, in silence?

I don't think I have ever been to a 3 pax MEL function. Usually at least double that.

Well we had about 14 show up on a Wednesday night a few weeks ago (to drink 17 bottles of Champagne), and 7 the following Thursday. And I can assure you that there's no awkward silence.

I think I would get kicked out of a epicure event if I down a whole bottle of Champagne..

14 does sound decent though so I will keep that in mind if I am in the country for the next one >< are they held often?
