Heathrow Terminal 3 arrival

We have been fortunate in securing a QFF points Perth to London direct business class flight. Arriving at terminal 3 at 5.05am, Given Qantas ceased access to the American Airlines arrival lounge and we cannot book into our accommodation for some time, what are the best paid lounges available or other options members have found in these situations. Thanks.

There are no paid lounges available.
Plaza premium is still closed.

Best bet is to head into your hotel and ask them for shower facilities if your room isn’t ready.
You could also get a day use room at one of the various airport hotels but that may be very costly.

BTW - arriving around 0730, but the Priority Pass arrivals lounges are all still closed, very annoying. Can’t see any other options for grabbing a shower on arrival before heading into London. Any suggestions?

I have found the best option is to dump your bags at the hotel, and get out and about. Those early morning arrivals are a killer, but fresh air and a look around parts of London have seemed better for us than finding somewhere to reside in the airport. Even when we had a 10hr (*forced) transit, we headed out into London on the Elizabeth line to fill the gap.

*BA cancelled our early 8:30 flight, and then the 13:30 flight, and we eventually flew on the 17:30 flight to MAN.

Go to hotel, ask for room as soon as available. Wander the streets to get sunlight (ok, daylight - maybe not sunlight in London), to acclimatise to the timezone. Ask hotel to contact you as soon as room available.

As mentioned, depending on hotel they may have shower facilities available (via a gym or other facilities within the hotel).
