headphone plugs EK - A380

Hi there, flying on both EK and QF A380's in the next few weeks. Kids have their own headphones. Being a single 3.5mm plug (standard ipad etc) will they work on the A380, or do we need an adapter to the old style 2 prong plug in the armrests?
