Just had a look at my daughters flight coming up and checked the baggage allowance. 1* 3Kg! Has this changed or is it an error?

One would assume that is an error. I'm currently waiting in the Amex Lounge Sydney for QF3 (delayed to 9 p.m.) and we had one x 23 kg bag each without question

Yes I did see this, hence my surprise in seeing 3kg on the ticket!
Those auto-generated amounts aren't always correct. I would trust the website over what the ticket says as this is what the check in agent will base it off

We just booked our flights....and the last leg of all the flights on the ticket showed this as well...all the other legs had 40kgs ‍♀️

Perhaps it's the tail end of 23 or even start of 32, which is common.
