Has there been changes in the way reward flight availability is displayed on Qantas?

I’m not sure, but it seems that when searching for reward flight availability it appears that all flight options are now displayed in the one search. In other words partner airlines such as Qatar, which from my memory used to only appear when you conducted a multi-city search, now seem to appear all in the one simple search. Can anyone confirm this at all? And if that’s the case, is there any benefit in conducting a multi-city search anymore to bring up all the airlines?

Solution
I haven't noticed any change here. Partner airlines have often showed up in one-way and return flight searches on the Qantas website before.

Sometimes the multi-city tool can be used to force the website to show flight combinations that wouldn't otherwise be picked up, e.g. routings with multiple connections that the website doesn't always look for unprompted.

It's possible that you're seeing more availability now on the QF website simply because there is more availability. I have certainly noticed that there are more seats available (particularly for travel later in the year/next year) lately.

I have noticed the same thing. rewards flights listed are almost all One World partners but not so much for Qantas. Whereas before Qantas Reward flights always showed up. I just been looking at flights from any major airport in Australia to LAX 12 month out in J
