Hello

Just noticed that my SQ flights MEL-SIN are in a 777 not an A380 :(
Expert flyer is showing J to be full...

My flight back is a 777 also...

Travel agent said that SQ has withdrawn A380s from Australia... does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks :)

Only withdrawn from MEL. This has been the case for a while. Still flying A380 SYD-SIN.

They have seasonal services to MEL when demand is very strong. A couple of weeks ago I did A380 to MEL and back. When not operating, the 77Ws that operate on SQ 217/8 and SQ 227/8 are still quite comfortable and in J and Y almost as good as A380.

For those wanting A380 experience between MEL and SIN, Emirates is introducing it onto the route early next year.

Yeah... done the EK A380 but Mr Up prefers the wider seats in SQ.. Glad to hear that the seat quality is still good :)

You were right dajop! SQ227/8 J was fantastic.. really good. Hadn't flown SQ for a while and was really impressed with the comfort, service and of course champagne :)
Mr Up again happy with the seat.
Our return was on a newer fitout and I thought it was very user friendly.. big screen, comfortable seat, good storage around the seat (you can have hand luggage under the seat in front for easy access). Very happy :)
Have started up my Krisflyer membership again :)
