I'm planning to relocate to USA for couple menthes and trying to keep my Australia number at the same time. Shall I try Esim from Lemon Mobile? Has anyone tried yet?
Is it good?

Probably a question for here:

or maybe here:

I assume you want to keep your existing Oz mobile number and port to something cheaper? The Telstra prepaid option mentioned in the second thread comes as an eSIM but price wise seems to have gone up.

AFAIK, adding an eSim is the easiest way to keep your Aussie number, without incurring expensive roaming fees.

In the same way that your phone generally works overseas when connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, (i.e. data works, phone calls don't, but, WhatsApp / Facetime audio calls do)
adding an ESIM is kinda like having Wi-Fi coverage everywhere.
What you are paying for is a combination of Data quantity and time.
For what you are after, it seems that this FLX special might be your best option, as it lasts ± 6 months.
Sorry, I have no experience with Lemon Mobile.

Unfortunately eSIM providers like Flexiroam (and Airalo etc) won't help to keep an Oz number active (if that's what the OP is after?). They're generally data only and usually provided offshore.

If OP just want data access in the US, then plenty of eSIM options available but possibly better getting a local US SIM? Which is what I initially assumed the questions was.

To keep an Oz number alive, you need an Oz telco solution. Most will roam and receive SMS for free while overseas but have varying degrees of charges to make/receive calls and send SMS.

The Telstra "Pre-Paid Mobile Casual" mentioned in the other thread is probably a good option. $35 for 6 mths (plus you can add international roaming bundles). I believe these pre-paid plans can be done as eSIM?

PS
I'd be wary of anything called "Lemon" :)

PPS
Actually, I recall it was discussed a while back in the eSIM thread?

I made the assumption that the OP was not planning to cancel their local Aussie service, but rather to ADD an eSim. I guess that was not totally clear from the original post.
