I give up I cannot upload the picture of a moonboot

I have a problem over a couple of threads where all I can see is a pair of bicycles next to a bush near possibly a Melbourne shore.
Someone on the qantas memorabilia thread is complaining about only seeing a pair of crutches and a leg support!
Perhaps this is your mislaid moonboot?
Now if someone would put their bikes away...

Weird very weird stuff going on.....

I see the FIFA logo in both threads

My young teenage son had to wear one after foot surgery, and when we went to the land of the free and paranoid, he had to take it off and hop through the metal detector whilst the boot went through the scanner. He beeped with the hardware in his foot and they made him do it again before wanding him!

my moon boot

Gardens are such dangerous places that I rarely go out there. Getting to wear a moon boot in First Class may get you there in style.

well last night I saw marki's picture of a fellow at an airport in a moon boot.today I see 2 pictures of an old Qantas bag instead.
The little green folk appear to have taken over!:shock::D

How unfortunate Mrs Drron! So sorry to hear of your accident. My experience last year with the moon boot and travel were interesting! After falling and breaking my ankle plus ligaments etc in Santorini, Greece I was evacuated to Athens for immediate surgery. All was successful and my wonderful doctors there fitted me up with a moon boot so that I could travel within a week back to Australia. The ambulance staff handed me over to the Emirates staff at Athens airport and I was very well looked after from there all the way back to Melbourne. Each and every transfer was conducted speedily and with priority so there was literally no waiting time except in the airport lounges! The security staff at Athens, Dubai and KL were very accommodating except at Athens they indicated they would like me to remove the boot! After a small discussion about the specialist having set the boot himself, they decided not to proceed with that request. Wheelchairs were used at every airport plus they got the lifter to the aircraft at Dubai to take me off the plane as we didn't pull up at an aerobridge. Also my insurance company covered my return to Australia in first class so I was able to travel with my leg raised for most of the journey. All up a great experience in trying circumstances, especially as I was travelling by myself.

Additionally on a trip to Perth late last year and whilst still using crutches, Qantas staff went out of their way to assist me even though I hadn't asked for it. They picked me out of the departure lounge for priority boarding and settled me with very personal customer service. On my return to Melbourne I did request assistance as I found the 'going it alone' at the airport very tiring and a bit stressful! So good luck with your travels - your best advantage will behaving the fabulous Dr Ron as your personal physician! :)
