Has anyone ever bought anything back for someone on the forum?

Hey, relatively new here so not sure how pally or not anyone might be...

But has anyone ever asked or offered to bring something back from overseas for anyone out of interest sakes?

Just I was pondering buying something from the US and I think the postage might be up around $120 to get to Oz, just wondering like i said if anyone had seen anyone who was coming back on business and had some spare room or luggage allowance for example could work it out somehow, offer a few bucks etc in exchange???

Guess it might also help if you knew the person a little, or if it was a book or something, just in case someone was trying to get you pick up something dodgy/illegal for them...
