I received an email from the Museum of Flight in Seattle, so thought I would share here:
The Queen of the Skies took her first flight 50 years ago on Sunday 10th February 1969! It took incredible risk and incredible men and women to build Boeing’s “Jumbo Jet.” The men and women who built the 747 were nicknamed the “Incredibles.” They worked tirelessly for 16 months building the world’s largest passenger aircraft.
Thanks to supporters, like you, access to the first 747 ever built - serial number RA001 - is available year-round at The Museum of Flight, Seattle.

That's now making me feel old
