Handa Opera On Sydney Harbour 2013

This year it is Carmen. Worth a trip to Sydney I think.
Last year we were there and our Perth next door neighbors turned up same night. They stayed 4 doors up from us in Sydney so I wasn't sure who was following who.

Anyone planning to make a trip over for it?

So far four of us are coming from Perth....we'll make it a 4 day long weekend and get back to Perth Monday night seeing we work Tuesday and Wednesday.
Last year the show was excellent so we are really happy it is on again with a new show.

I think it should be March/April but no bookings are possible just yet.

I might head down... though if it's just the same production as last year (which is also playing in Queensland later this year), I probably won't. While it is an excellent production, I don't think I could justify another trip to see the same show again (albeit on the Harbour)!

On looking through the OA Season 2013 book, I can't seem to find it mentioned, and I can't find the 2013 Handa Opera info online - so I'll have to wait and see which production it is!

Booked a long weekend in Sydney for Carmen in April allowing two extra nights just in case the rain gods are activated.
Should be a really good show complete with a Sydney Harbour view.
We did 2 JASAs out of Perth so Mrscove will keep her WP status without too many long cuts.
